Formation of clusters. (a) Clusters formed by C60 molecules after having left the crystals composed of C60 molecules in carbon dioxide under supercritical conditions (36.0°C) for 24 h. (b) C60 molecules were so weakly bonded to each other that the clusters were broken by the electron beams, the energy flux of which was 1.5 nW nm-2, during the SEM observation.
