Results from Stevenson et al.[48]obtained by application of an in-plane magnetic field. Three different QDs A, B, and C having at zero magnetic field a FSS of 22,284, and −16 μeV, respectively. The top (middle) panels show spectra of the X-emission at a magnetic field of B = 0 T (B = 5 T). The dashed and solid lines stand for the spectra recorded at perpendicular polarization angles, respectively. The bottom panels show the behavior of the FSS (S) as it is tuned by the magnetic fields.
