A nanocluster that grows dramatically in size with time (a) 0, (b) 3, (c) 8, and (d) 12 min: Arrow 1, new branches grow out; 2, nanowire in the middle of the cluster bends up and grows longer; 3, a branch on the nanocluster became less clear due to motion in the water or drifting into different depth of the liquid.
