Dose- and size-dependent nonspecific binding of AuNPs with CYP marker metabolites. Six probe metabolites with standard solutions (low, medium, and high concentrations) were coincubated separately with 5, 7, 30, 70 nm AuNPs in PBS to a final volume of 200 μL at 37°C, in the absence or presence of 0.15 mg mL-1 HLM, and terminated the incubation after 30 min by adding 200 μL of acetonitrile containing IS. CYP3A4 (a) represents testosterone 6β-hydroxylase, and CYP3A4 (b) represents felodipine dehydrogenase. Data are mean values ± SD (n = 3) and are expressed as a percentage of QC samples of the metabolites incubated without AuNPs.
