None of the clinical parameters tested were affected by CMS in healthy skin or atopic dermatitis. a–d Topical application of CMS-ICC had no visual effects on the skin of healthy mice or mice with atopic dermatitis when compared to the solvent-treated controls. e–g Clinical parameters transepithelial water loss (TEWL), erythema index, and skin hydration were not significantly affected by topically applied CMS-ICC.
