Oxidative damage products in LLC primary tumor tissue following NP administration to mice. Levels of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (A), protein carbonyl (B), and thiol (C) groups and nonprotein thiol groups (D) were determined in primary tumor tissue homogenates on day 18 after tumor cell inoculation and after daily intra-peritoneal injections of NPs for 12 days at a dose 500 μg/kg/day. Values marked with different letters (a, b, c) are statistically different, P < 0.05. All values are given as the mean ± 1 S.D., n = 5 for each group
