Effects of MTX and MTX-CS NGs on the rat body weight. The day of the first injection was considered as day 0. Saline, MTX (1.25 μmol kg−1 day−1), and MTX-CS NGs (4.25 mg kg−1 day−1) were given another day by intraperitoneal injections, respectively, to the corresponding group.
