Structure of samples and experimental setup. a Representation of layered samples structure 1 - FeCl3 intercalated graphene layers, 2 - WS2 film fabricated from LC phase; b The laboratory terahertz time-domain spectrometer setup. fs pulse is divided by a beamsplitter (BS) to the pump and probe beams. The pump beam is modulated by an optical chopper (OM), passes delay line and is focused on InAs crystal in the magnet (M). A Teflon filter (F1) is used to cut off the IR pump beam. Generated THz pulses are focused on the sample (S) then collimated on the electro-optical crystal (EOC) by off-axis parabolic mirror (PM). The probe beam polarization is fixed by a Glan prism (G). The polarization change is registered by a quarter wave plate (λ/4), a Wollaston prism (W) and a balanced photo detector (BPD). Lock-in amplifier (LA) and personal computer (PC) are used for signal processing
