Schematic illustration of nanoparticles (NPs) and in vitro cell experiment. The pullulan-lovastatin (PLV) NP was formed by self-assembly of a polymer formed by pullulan and LV in an aqueous solution. In the process of forming the NP, DXR was loaded in the hydrophobic core of the NP. Then, PLV/DXR was used for in vitro cell experiments with MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-453 cells representing triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and non-TNBC cells, respectively
