  1. Data for the iron-oxide nanoparticles (IONP) have been taken from the supplementary information in [24], while those for proteins (1AKI and 1UBQ) have been computed for the present work. Notice that Eq. (1) has been applied considering DC=0.39×10−9m2/s. \(n_{p}^{e}\) is the number of particles estimated using the proposed protocol; \(n_{p}^{o}\) the original (actual) number of particles in the simulated setups
