Optimizing coating of thioglycolic acid on gold nanoparticles. As the figure reveals, there is no significant alteration in absorbance after 24 h of incubation despite the elongation of adjacent time. Therefore, 24 h was selected as the optimized time for coating of thioglycolic acid on GNPs. The Y-axis shows the absorbance intensity at 530 nm (max absorbance of nanoparticles).
