Responses of hemopexin by the exposure to surface modified nSP70. BALB/c mice were treated intravenously with nSP70 modified with amino (nSP70-N) or carboxyl (nSP70-C) groups at 0.8 mg/mouse. (A) After 2, 6, 24, and 48 h, the levels of hemopexin in the plasma of treated mice were examined by ELISA. The plasma levels of (B) haptoglobin and (C) SAA were determined by ELISA after 24 h.
