Biodistribution of SWCNT-ANXA5 measured as % of injected dose (a) and tissue concentration in g/L (b). The SWCNT-ANXA5 conjugate was i.v. injected into Balb/cJ mice at a dose of 1.2 mg/kg. The SWCNT concentration was measured in various organs of mice without tumors after 1, 2, 3, and 4 months (left to right). For mice with tumors, the concentration of SWCNTs was measured at the time as it would be immediately prior to photothermal therapy treatment. Data are shown as mean ± SE (n = 3)
